Lazy Poster Designers?

Here’s a very fun activity: spotting the visual cliches in film posters. Bored Panda has a collection of 13 movie poster cliches. These are both amusing and troubling: people are being paid to produce the same stuff over and over again.

Minimalist mental disorder posters

Graphic designer Patrick Smith produced a series of posters to highlight some mental disorders. Their simplicity shows the power of good design to communicate. Here’s one for a start but make sure you have a good look at the rest.
